A Ranger on the Iron Throne?

Post by Manveruon »

A few days ago, by random chance, I happened to discover that a local store was going to have the official "Iron Throne" from HBO's "Game of Thrones" TV show come through over the weekend, and allow people to take pictures on it. Naturally, I could not pass up the opportunity to take my place as ruler of Westeros, so a few friends and I went down and got some great photos taken by a fantastic pro photographer we know. Anyway, I now present for your viewing pleasure, King Manveruon, First of His Name.

Incidentally, I am trying really hard to win some cool stuff in a costume contest they're doing, so if any and/or all of you could pop by the link below and click "like" on my picture, I would be eternally grateful! The photo with the most likes by the 14th wins some really sweet swag, including a set of dragon eggs, a couple of commemorative plaques, and a gift card.

Don't watch the show, but this is freaking awesome. Wife and I both 'like'd.

Thanks guys! But hey... soooooo... wanna see something REALLY cool? The guy who did the photos worked up the below image with some photoshopped elements, like the stained glass, etc. And... well... wait for it...

Wow! That is insanely awesome! I was getting pretty addicted to the show and need to catch up on it.

Dropped a 'like' on your photo, and am rooting for your victory Manveruon, King!

Those pictures are great. Who knows by the last book, maybe a Ranger will set on the Iron throne.
