Beautiful photos from a fellow Ranger in France
As you might remember, we have some fellow Rangers in France, the Company of the Green Dragon. One of their members, Christophe Gattuso, 'friended' me on Facebook, and it turns out he's a professional photographer.
Here's a website with some of his photos of Rangers, etc. , in France:

Those are some great pics! It would be a cool thing to get portrait pics done in garb

I can see it now, Ken...here comes the awkward school photo mugshot, where we smile at the wrong moment, have that same cheesy marbled blue-grey background year after year, and wear...cloaks?
Lovely stuff coming out of that French group, as always. Thanks for sharing.

Now the sword shall come from under the cloak.

Good lord, it's costume porn!
Looking at these I now realize that I've seen at least one of the members of this group before, all over the internet. I recognize his kit. I've been in awe of his stuff for years now, and I really wish I could convince him to share patterns for some of the stuff. His bracers in particular are gorgeous, and his quiver is beautiful as well. Oddly enough, I even modeled Sarah's new elven quiver almost entirely after his.

Awesome pictures! It might be awhile before our group looks anything close to that…..

Since elven stuff has come up a bit recently, I went looking for this site via the forum link and saw it had disappeared.
However, I'm fairly certain at least one of the prime movers of that bunch - Christophe Gattuso - is at least for now still online at:
La Tuatha d'Imladris
Also including a couple (for now) cached images from Google so future members will know what we were gushing over:
And a particularly good one from his own site:

You know what? I think we've caught up. At least, now looking at their work I get the same feeling as I do looking at Andy's original kit - insanely good for its time, a true inspiration.... but we've really pushed the envelope since then.Awesome pictures! It might be awhile before our group looks anything close to that…..

Their gallery appears to be here (for now):

What fun it would be to haunt the forests of central Europe in such a manner?!

There are no safe paths in this part of the world. Remember you are over the Edge of the Wild now, and in for all sorts of fun wherever you go.
