I have been looking for some bota bag/ wine skins but all I find seem to have red seams and cords. Are there any better options? Not sure about making one I'm not to good at that kinda stuff.

There are two posts on water carriers under Crafts and skill one has to do with making a brewer's pitch lined leather water bottle the other shows how to cover a glass, tin or other type of container. The second one mentioned also covers changing the cover of a store bougth bota and repalcing it with something either more primivtive or to match existing gear.

These are a few of the water carriers I've done.

These are simply covers for glass bottles or new leather covers for a hard and a soft bladdered bota.

I've yet to try the leather jack type, but I'll get around to it sometime.

Thanks! I was inspired to make it about this time last year when I discovered Andy's site and saw his bottles.
