New Contest

Thought we'd try a different type of contest. It's combineing both the story writting and photo contest.

Rules: Create a picture book story. The text can be as long as you like but no less than 200 words. The picture aspect can have as many pics as you like but no less than 5 pictures. By combineing the story and the photos you are to immerse the reader/viewer into your tale.

I will add the timeframe and additional rules later tonight. This time there will be only 1 prize and the voting will be by you the forum members.

Okay here goes:

Timeframe from now until March 31st.

Based on the number of entries we will either have a single poll or multiple if over the maximum.

It's preferable if you post the pics on a hosting site and then link them here to save bandwidth.

The prize is as yet to be determined.

The storyline can be anything MiddleEarth, from Rohan to the shire anything goes. Multiple members can partner on the same submission under one name. Should a partnered submission win,the person the submission is under would be the winner of the prize and it is up to the partnership to determine how the prize will be divided.

Due to the worldwide aspect of our members, I'm going to keep the prize simple- $100 Gift Certificate to Kult of Athena

For those of you unfamiliar with this site, They have excellent prices on the widest variety of items. They offer excellent Customer Service and I've used them several times in the past.

If the winner prefers a Gift Certificate from another vendor may be substituted provided the transaction can be completely handled via computer.
