Take some pics anyway, it might fit a catagory in the next contest.

There's two ways to post pictures:

The first way is when replying or starting a new thread scroll down past where you enter the text and you'll come to where it says upload attachment. Use the "browse" search to find and upload your picture or file from your computer.

The second way is to use an alternate hosting site like Photobucket, select from the pictures in the account you open there and left click on the "direct link". It will now say "copied". Go to your post and right click, click on paste and you'll see something like this:

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn46 ... p/rous.jpg

Now anyone can just double click on the link.
Other hosting sites' directions will vary but the result will be the same.

For something like the contest the first is best, because it allows the watcher to become immediately immersed in the entry, however it increases the sites bandwidth which in turn increases operating costs. Whenever possible it is recommended that you use the second way as it allows members to view your pictures but keeps the site cost down.

Hope this helps!

Is there any way you could just right click on it and press copy and then click paste? :?

Open a window and sign on to the Ranger forum. When your at the forum, start a thread or reply to an existing thread.
Open another window to the file in your computer that has yor stored pictures. e
Go back to the ranger window beneath the area you would write in, hit the browse button outlined in white, search for your picture in your library file and double click.

Hit preview to look at your new post, edit if nessecary and then hit submit.

If you are pulling from a host site, 1st open a window for the ranger site, open another for the host site, pick your pic, hit direct link. Your pic will be "copied" go back to the ranger window and in the text area, hit paste.

To test this open a thread in the test area of the forum and practice with both systems (if you have access to a hosting site).

If you're still confused, ask Ernildhir to show you. After all, you live in the same house!
