What we have here.....

A lot of reenactment level work is about learning appropriate historical crafts and skills. This board is for all general skills that don't have their own forum.

Don't sell yourself short that is quite a bit!

You know even back in Medeival times whan you were more dependent on knowing how to be more self reliant, very few people were masters of more than one skill. "The Jack of all trades" was almost always followed by "The master of none."

The time it takes to really master something, and the level of focus and commitment needed to get to that, is something that I would truly love to have.

Unfortunately being well rounded (in more ways than one) is my lot in life due to the old ADD monster!

So making peace with him instead of fighting myself, I keep about ten projects going at once so that as my focus and interest wain and shift, I always have something to do!

Shallow but covering alot of area.

(Anyone want to play "deep but not profound"?

That would be an AD&D monster! Mine just makes me run around in ten different directions at one time accomplishing nothing.....guess you could call it a "Mind Flayer" Hee Hee!

And an example of Deep but not Profund" would be:

Woods
but not Forest

Sheep
But not lambs
...or rams, for that matter
Or ewes, in fact.
These would be ageless sheep
But not unaging.
They would provide mutton
But not meat
Okay, I stop now :)
Happy Hunting
