Hard Kit is all other accoutrements that are not clothing, weapons or armour. This includes pots and tents, and flint & steel, and other things like that.
I tasked my potter friend with designing a pipkin that would fit in my pack and gave him a few design elements that were shared on the forum. I'm excited to get it in hand and see how it works.
Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.
Aragorn: It's the beards.
The glaze is lovely, I'd be so worried I would break it if I took it out on the trail.
But the white fury of the Northmen burned the hotter, and more skilled was their knighthood with long spears and bitter. Fewer were they but they clove through the Southrons like a fire-bolt in a forest.
I was messaging a potter about getting a custom pipkin for my kit, but the conversation just sort of stalled out, as online back-and-forths are wont to do.
Any details you can give us on dimensions, capacity, weight, etc?

Nothing exact until Iget it in hand, but I had him build it to hold about a quart. I'll do a much more thorough post once it's here.
My guy is functionalmud on etsy. He is all about middle earth, and he had a lot of fun making mine, so I'd hit him up. Most of the stuff in my cupboards was made by him, so i can attest to the quality.
That's amazing. I love the leaf/arrowhead design! I am looking to make my kit both more functional and beautiful like that. Looks like I might have to hit your guy up as well. Just need to learn how to use a pipkin first!
