That looks fantastic! Also, the Viking Queen herself, Sól Geirsdóttir, is in the trailer!

I wonder if we will ever see a big budget ranger movie that is not based in middle earth?
In the darkest part of Sherwoods glade, in the thickest part of the wood, there are those who say, can still be seen, the ghost of Robin Hood.

^^^This doesn't surprise me at all, and has a lot of promise...if they'll just get someone to promise them two films or so...even if they put books 1&2 together to make a film, there'd be too much left open. Should be interesting.

Last I heard, they were talking about developing it into a long-running television series, but that was a year or more ago.

I had high hopes when I first heard of this, but am a little dis-appointed: LARP-like scenes and costumes, over-acting, and small visual mis-cues put me off. I'll still watch it, but not what I expected.

From someone who works inn film part time any film has budgets and ones made by indie production makers aren't going to have huge budgets because most things they get are donated including time and materials. I've seen tv shows that were made with larger budgets and still looked goofy, Xena and Legend of The Seeker come to mind. I watch and enjoy them for what they are. Actors and stunt guys like me use these as demo reel resume type stuff and it could pave the way to larger productions. It's not gonna be GOT or LOTR but even the Hobbit wasn't LOTR.
