My fiancee, whose family is from Ohio, is always telling me about Old Man's Cave, this valley with an overhang where some hermit lived in the wild for years. I wonder if that would make a good meetup spot.
You can try seeking out a hunt club or an outdoor club to see about use. We have an Outdoor club here with several hundred acres but I don't know how they would be about a bunch on non members using the grounds but it might not be the same in all areas.
Many evil things there are that your strong walls and bright swords do not stay.
You know little of the lands beyond your bounds.
