Re: The Riddle Game
Yea I thought it could be Ravens because of the Poe reference but as it's a Murder of Crows and An unkindness of ravens I went withe crows.
The Load-bearer, the Warrior,
The Frightened One, the Brave,
The Fleet-of-foot, the Ironshod
The Faithful One, the Slave

Yep.
Re: The Riddle Game
I am a minstrel and a loremaster,
My love I betrayed twice to my king,
She escaped and I wandered East searching for her,
There I stayed in despair minstrelling.
My love I betrayed twice to my king,
She escaped and I wandered East searching for her,
There I stayed in despair minstrelling.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Re: The Riddle Game
Minstrelling ought to be a word.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Re: The Riddle Game
That's right.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Re: The Riddle Game
Born in distant lands
traveling far
cross land and sea
Taking permanent residence, he
Called to war
crossing the shore
down but not dead
several monthes abed
Returned to his love
both land and wife
position secured
bought young to life
Brought many of the old,
back to life
tales were told
one of a knife
traveling far
cross land and sea
Taking permanent residence, he
Called to war
crossing the shore
down but not dead
several monthes abed
Returned to his love
both land and wife
position secured
bought young to life

Re: The Riddle Game
A little more clues !
Long gone now
his offspring live on
by campfire, three wait
day and night
for that is their fate
Others live on
many have gone
ships have sailed
his memory still hailed
Diminutive friends
one lived in an end
courteous of guests
even those that are pests
