Ohhhh, how I miss LOTR Online...I wish I could afford to play it, but money's been tight lately. In my opinion LOTRO is better than WOW. To me the 7 pointed stars look a little funky, so I'd probably stick with the 6 pointed ones.

Thanks! I was favoring the bearded axe anyway. I might purchase a Mammen axe one of these days, but just for a "wall-hanger".

I like the idea of the Viking/Dane equipment, but then again, I've been adding a Rohirrim flavor to my Ranger-ness, so that's right up my alley. When I get the cash flow, I'd like to build my kit with something like this: -Godfred Viking longsword -Hungarian horse bow -Saxon Scramasax -Bearded or Ma...

I agree with Greg here. I'm all for historical accuracy, but when you're dealing with Dunedain Rangers (a fantasy installment) at least a little creative license is warranted. I myself would love to get my hands on a falcata, but most of the falcatas I've found online look like they were all made by...
